Challenge #2 training plan

Overview of my training periodisation for the 6 months leading up to the challenge.
Each week there will be two cardiovascular (CV) sessions and three resistance sessions specific to the above plan. At least one of the CV sessions will be a run. Resistance sessions will be movement pattern specific with one session a week at least focused on lower body. More detail of each week is shown below.

RACE WEEK
The race events on the periodised plan are intermediate races that I have entered to strategically try and gauge my progress throughout my training. The first R1, is a 10 km trail run in Wales and the second, R2, is a 20 km fell run in the Lake District. The final event, R3, is the event proper. All 50 km of the Dark Peak trail in the Peak District. Blog posts to give updates on training will come at these checkpoints and during the last taper week leading up to the event.
